Arsenal beat Olimpia, advances to quarter-finals
Argentina’s Arsenal de Sarandí defeated Paraguay's Olimpia 3-2 and reached the quarter finals in the match for the second leg of the Sudamericana Cup’s pre-quarter finals.
Arsenal’s Cristian Trombetta opened the score at 16’ of the first half, while his teammate Emilio Zelaya netted the second half only three minutes later.
But at 36’ and 42’ of the same half, Pablo Zeballos managed to score Olimpia’s goals and tie the result.
Only a few minutes before the end of the match, Gustavo Blanco Leschuk scored Arsenal's victory goal, leading his team to the next round.
