CFK calls for 'consolidating dialogue' during meeting with farming leaders

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, and Agriculture Minister, Julián Domínguez, met with the head of the Coninagro agricultural centre, Carlos Garetto.

During the meeting, which was initially scheduled for last Friday but the president cancelled it due to the death of Social Development Minister Alicia Kirchner's partner, the Head of State insisted that all sectors should work together towards "consolidating the dialogue in order to make a stronger nation."

This was the first time that a president visited the Inter-Cooperative Agricultural Confederation (Coninagro).

During the afternoon, Fernández de Kirchner will attend the former ESMA Navy School of Mechanics, where torturing sessions were carried out during last dictatorship, to give a speech as part of the 60th anniversary of the first TV transmission broadcasted in Argentina.
