D'Elía deems Iran threat against Argentina, 'ridiculous'

Picket leader Luis D´Elía.

Social movement leader, Luis D´Elía deemed the United States' accusations against Iran over possible threats to Buenos Aires to be “ridiculous”. He further suggested that there be “dialogue” between Tehran and Argentina.

“It smells like nonsense. Here, dialogue needs to exist to be able to see how – always with the Judiciary involved – the AMIA subject will be resolved,” D’Elía said.

He furthered that it would be “a real act of craziness, contradicted by real facts” stating that one of those being that “in October this year Iran will have bought 2 billion US dollars worth of local products.”
