Bieber fever lands in Buenos Aires

Canadian singer and teen heartthrob, Justin Bieber, arrived early this morning to Argentina, where he has stopped to play two gigs as part of his “My World Tour”. The young pop star arrived to a throng of young female fans, who were waiting for him at the airport and hotel where he is staying in Puerto Madero.

The 17-year-old artist arrived from Brazil around 2 am this morning on a private jet and was rapidly taken by his entourage to a Puerto Madero hotel.

Although the cameras were out in force, Bieber maintained a low-profile on arriving to Buenos Aires, without giving much public display. Hundreds of fans went to greet the star who’s to play at River Plate stadium tomorrow and Thursday night as part of his "My World Tour".

Some of the most dedicated were queuing up frantically to get a glimpse of the star as early as yesterday afternoon. In front of the hotel where he is staying, multitudes of young females were out in force with holding cameras, painted signs and photos of the star whilst singing some of his big hits.

Born in Ontario, Canada, Bieber started his career by posting videos on popular sharing website, YouTube, and was spotted by superstar singer Usher before shooting to fame in 2008.

The song, “One Time” rose to become a number #1 hit on the charts in Canada, and in 2010 his success was underlined by the album, “My World”.
