Solanas questions 'criminalization of social protests'

The lawmaker and head of Proyecto Sur bloc, Fernando "Pino" Solanas questioned the "criminalization of the social protests," and added that the detention of the Sarmiento train line union delegate Rubén "Pollo" Sobrero could be linked with his "opposition" to the leader of the Train Union (UF), José Pedraza.

"There is a criminalization of the social protest and of the group of leaders who represent Pedraza's opposition. They are the systematic opponents who have been denouncing the destruction of the train goods," he continued.

Solanas said during an interview with El Mundo radio that "they have to investigate (Claudio) Cirigliano who is screwed to the government."

He also assured "the paradox of the Argentine Justice is that it lets Ricardo Jaime free, who was the Transport Secretary and has committed crime with our money, and it detains the man who pressed charges against him."
