Access to Ezeiza Airport partially blocked by protest
Close to a hundred dockyard workers from the Ezeiza Airport partially blocked the entrance to the Ezeiza International Airport on Thursday afternoon because they claimed they were “not allowed into the premises this morning” in order to conduct the cleaning of the aircrafts.
Protestors blocked all but one of the entrance’s lanes, creating a traffic jam and a five kilometres-long line.
Airport authorities advised passengers who were supposed to fly on Thursday to leave for the airport several hours before their departure time.
Due to the traffic chaos, several passengers could be seen abandoning their vehicles and dragging their luggage to the airport.
