Brazil: Armed man tries to meet Rousseff, threatens suicide

An armed man tried to enter the Brazilian government House today and was detained by security as he threatened to kill himself at Planalto government house in Brasilia, the countries’ capital.
“ An armed man, identified as Maycon Kister Pinheiro come to the Planalto doors, where the screening equipment is, with a gun pointed to his neck and told security personnel he wanted to meet with the president Dilma Rousseff ,” a Security Cabinet spokesman told reporters.
“Then man was subdued, he than asked to talk to press. He surrounded his gun to the Federal Police and was then taken into custody”, said the spokesman.
