CFK inaugurates DNI centre, praises gov't's 'hard work, patriotism'
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner inaugurated today a new digital ID centre at 150 Leandro N. Alem street, in Buenos Aires city.
Accompanied by Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo, Interior Secretary Marcio Babarosa Moreira, y and Renaper chief Mora Arqueta, the President praised the new sigital system and said “these things can be achieved with hard work and patriotism.”
“Some downplayed the new system when we launched it. However, 25% of the population has now their new ID document,” she added stressing the new system “was put together with Argentine software with a 20 million dollar investment.”
