De Mendiguren urges Argentines to ‘defend, preserve the gov't model’
The President of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), José de Mendiguren said it was necessary to “defend and preserve” the national government's current economic plan, which has achieved the “largest growth cycle” in the country’s history.
According to the business leader, Argentines "have managed to expand Argentina’s capabilities in the last few years."
"In 2001 we imported corn from France and grapefruit from Israel. Today, we export those,” he said.
“It's very clear. We have to maintain this since it is an asset,” De Mendiguren highlighted and urged Argentines to “defend the government's achievements."
