'Argentina and China are building a strategic relationship,' Timerman
Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman.
Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman stated today Argentina and China “are building a strategic relationship,” highlighting “positive investment activity” within bilateral connections, as he was heading a dinner with powerful Chinese executives, during his first activity on his China visit.
Timerman arrived this morning to Beijing to begin his China visit. This morning, the foreign minister was meeting with top Chinese businessmen to discuss commerce and investment plans, alongside national businessmen.
Timerman arrived at 5.30 pm (local time) where he he was first received by Argentine Ambassador to China, Gustavo Martino.
The foreign minister will received tomorrow by Chinese vice-president, Xi Jinping.
