Domestic flights suffer delays, cancellations due to ash cloud
Domestic flights, particularly to the south of Argentina were still suffering delays and cancellations today, following backing-up of airline services yesterday, as many flights were suspended due to the new presence of an ash cloud coming from the Chilean Puyehue volcano in the south.
According to the Aerolíneas Argentinas flight schedule published online, six domestic flights were cancelled today, including flights between Aeroparque and El Calafate, San Martín de los Andes, and Mar del Plata.
Airline LAN announced that their services from Ezeiza international and Aeroparque were running normally, however flights to Bariloche remained permanently cancelled, until further notice.
