Buenos Aires stocks edge up
Buenos Aires stocks closed with the Merval benchmark stock index edging up by 0.6 percent, to 2,960 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 0.9% to 748 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The American currency traded for AR$4.175/AR$4.22, gained half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
