Fiscal surplus plunges 90.1% in July

Fiscal surplus reached 387 million pesos (92.1 million dollars), dropped 90.1 percent compared to the volume reported in the same month in 2010, the Economy Ministry reported.

In the first seven months of the year, the country accumulated 11,279.5 million pesos, 24.7 percent less than in the same period last year.

On July 2010, the surplus had reached 3,910.5 million pesos, 45.2 percent more than in 2009.
