Buenos Aires stocks drop slightly

Buenos Aires stocks moved down, with the Merval benchmark stock index dropping by 1.6 percent, to 2,825.38 points.

Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.2% to 742 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.

The American currency traded for AR$4.155/AR$4.20, gained half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
