BA stocks drop 4.1%
The Merval benchmark index dropped 4.1 percent, to 2,870.49 points. The Buenos Aires Stock Exchange resumed its activities after it suffered technical issues with the updating system.
Argentina's country-risk edged down by 3.7 percent to 731 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The American currency traded for AR$4.15/AR$4.195, gained half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
