'These results bring us hope for what's about to come,' Binner says
Frente Amplio Progresista presidential candidate Hermes Binner considered the primary election results to be “unheard of” and assured there was “hope” for him.
“We have now seen that this important coalition was a new element in these elections and it brings hope to what’s about to come. We’re going to keep working for the Argentine people, who in these last five weeks understood that something was happening in this country,” Binner said, referring to his campaign.
Accompanied by Buenos Aires province gubernatorial candidate Margarita Stolbizer, lawmaker candidate Victoria Donda and Santa Fe governor-elect Antonio Bonfatti. Binner took the time to congratulate President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
“What happened today is very important, that’s why we want to congratulate the winners in this election, specially Cristina Kirchner,” he said at his campaign headquarters.
