Electoral ban officially in effect
Primary elections take place across the country this Sunday.
As of Friday 8am, leading up to the primary elections this Sunday, the country is officially on an electoral ban. In line with the National Electoral Code, until Sunday no electoral polls are to be published, rallies are forbidden and election material distribution banned across the whole country.
The elections take place between 8am and 6pm on Sunday, across Argentina.
Thus, on election day, open-air concerts, public theatre works, sporting celebratory events and the selling of alcoholic beverages until three hours after the closing of the ballot, are officially prohibited.
