'The election will prove our real capability,' Argumedo says
Proyecto Sur’s presidential candidate Alcira Argumedo closed her electoral campaign along with the leader of the bloc, Fernando “Pino” Solanas, and affirmed that on Sunday they will prove the “real capacity” of the party that is willing to achieve the minimum of votes required to get to the October election.
The national lawmaker held her final election campaign rally at the San Miguel Palace in Buenos Aires City.
“Whatever the result is on August 14 and October 23, we are not going to stop,” the presidential candidate assured.
“We have an unequal test on August 14, especially in Buenos Aires province where we are presenting our bloc for the first time. But, after that, we are going to see our real capacity,” Argumedo stated.
Solanas also delivered a speech in which he assured that Proyecto Sur showed “several truths and principles that have been silenced by the governments, from the ‘Dirty War’ up to now.”
He added that “they are all accomplices, there’s no difference between Alfonsín, de Narváez and Duhalde.”
