Buenos Aires stocks climb on US data

Buenos Aires stocks moved up, as the Merval benchmark stock index increased by 5 percent to 2,949.01 points. The US job market figures helped to increase positivity in the Argentine stock exchange.

Argentina's country-risk dropped by 6 percent to 709 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.

The American currency traded for AR$4.14/AR$4.185, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires’ downtown.
