CFK's daughter-in-law loses baby, suspends official activities

It was announced today that President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s daughter-in-law, María Rocío García had lost her baby. The President suspended her official activities and made her way to the province of Santa Cruz to spend time with her family, government officials reported.

Government spokesperson Alfredo Scoccimarro, made the announcement, stating that the President’s plans to meet with Salta Governor, Juan Manuel Urtubey and her visit to Tecnópolis were cancelled.

Fernández de Kirchner was also due to inaugurate the new office building for the Argentine company, Globant.
