Malvinas soldiers blocked 9 de Julio Avenue
A group of Malvinas war veterans blocked all lanes of Nueve de Julio avenue, admist a strong presence of police officers.
The former soldiers demanded to be considered as combatants of the Malvinas war. They were enlisted but didn’t disembark on the islands.
Even though some of the former soldiers reached an agreement after a meeting held in the Interior Ministry, others rejected the notion and blocked the avenue once again.
The blockade caused traffic chaos in the nearby areas.
