‘We’re winning by a wide margin,’ De la Sota official says

Government Minister and head of the Córdoba Justicialist Party branch Carlos Caserio assured that Unión por Córdoba candidate José Manuel de la Sota was leading the gubernatorial race “by a wide margin.”

“We’re winning by a wide margin, but of course we’re still awaiting the official results,” Caserio said at the De la Sota campaign headquarters.

Regarding the recount, he warned that it may take longer than expected due to the new single-ballot methodology.

In that sense, he asked the crowd present to “remain patient inside the headquarters,” where the candidate was expected to arrive soon.

“We know this new system requires a little patience. No matter the result, we will celebrate right next to our people, because today we are celebrating democracy here,” he concluded.
