Cumbia singer Leo Mattioli dies

Popular cumbia singer Leo Mattioli was found dead early on Sunday morning in a hotel in the seaside resort of Necochea. He was 39 years old

Sources of the Dr. Emilio Ferreyra hospital confirmed to ambito.com that when paramedics arrived at the hotel, the singer was found dead. Mateoli reportedly died from cardiac arrest.

Although it hasn’t been confirmed by his family members, the singer’s remains will be taken to Santo Tomé city in Santa Fe province.

Mattioli was born in 1972 and and began his carreer in music in 1992,was the lead singer of Trinidad, a popular cumbia group. In 1999 he began his solo career, which quickly established him as one of the most popular cumbia musicians in Argentina-
