Anibal Fernández: 'I don't care about PRO's alliances'
Cabinet chief Aníbal Fernández said on Friday he is not worried about PRO’s Mauricio Macri alliances in regard to a possible coalition with presidential candidate Eduardo Duhalde.
“Whatever PRO does is their business. If they want to partner with whomever it is their thing. We have to face our obligation to run and to sustain a good administration.”
“I really don’t care about PRO’s alliances,” he reiterated.
After a speech at the “Open Government Week”, Fernández also lashed out at presidential contender Elisa Carrió by saying she “was not in her right state of mind.”
“She is mad. We have to pity someone who is not in her right state of mind. We laugh at her stupidity” he fired.
Regarding the unfortunate shootout between police and civilians in Jujuy which left protesters and policemen dead, the cabinet chief said he trusts local authorities to “act properly.”
Finally, he dismissed opposition criticism on pension plans upgrades announced by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
“They don’t know what they are saying. The bill announced wasn’t voted by them because they said it would affect the pension benefits. But, it would be a public service irresponsibility not to do so,” Fernández stressed.
