Demonstrations against Jujuy deaths cause traffic chaos

Activists of CTA Argentine Workers Central marched down different areas of the City in protest of the serious incidents that took place in the Jujuy province locality of Libertador General San Martin, in which four people died during an eviction.

Protesters marched in Corrientes avenue, in front of the Ledesma sugar refinery headquarters, while another group marched to the province’s office in the City, located in Santa Fe and Carlos Pellegrini streets.

The protests caused chaos in traffic in the nearby areas. The Corriente Clasista y Combativa left wing group announced that it will hold several simultaneous protests in Santa, Fe, Chaco and Buenos Aires provinces
