Government urges the judiciary to 'immediately investigate' Jujuy incidents
Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo on Friday condemned yesterday’s violent clashes between police forces and squatters in the Northern province of Jujuy which left four people dead and at least 60 wounded.
“The national government condemns the violent incidents which took place in the city of Libertador General San Martín in Jujuy province, and urges the judiciary to immediately investigate and clarify the incidents,” Randazzo stressed.
He added “we have asked the provincial government to remove from their duties those who were responsible.”
“This government has always given priority to dialogue to solve these kinds of conflicts,” the minister said.
