Buenos Aires shares drop
The Merval benchmark stock index dropped 2.9 percent to 3,270.62 points. Argentina's country-risk rose by 0.9 percent to 577 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The American currency traded for AR$4.12/AR$4.165, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
