Primaries: UDESO warns of lack of political advertising space
The Social Development Union’s presidential candidate Ricardo Alfonsín and Buenos Aires province gubernatorial candidate Francisco De Narváez warned about alleged irregularities in the issuing of political advertising spaces ahead of the August 14 primaries.
During a press conference held earlier, they denounced an alleged “maneuver of the pro-government party against the opposition blocs” in the distribution of slots in the media for the campaign of the political parties. Along with legislators Gustavo Ferrari and Natalia Gambaro, they assured that there were political parties that were not included in the draw for the slots held two weeks ago.
The leaders of UDESO also affirmed that there were certain maneuvers to hinder the distribution of the media slots and reported they did not receive the access key to the system where the schedule for the campaign slots are published.
In the last weeks, several parties tendered judicial presentations in Buenos Aires province to question the electoral schedule and other aspects in the framework of the August election.
