CFK postpones ceremony due to storm
The severe thunderstorm that hit Buenos Aires on Monday night forced President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to suspend the televised launch of the Agricultural Plan, which was scheduled to take place at the Convention Centre in the Olivos Presidential Residence.
The ceremony was rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon.
The President was forced to stay inside the resident due to the bad weather and skipped a series of meetings she had scheduled for later in the day. She also took a couple of photographs with several gubernatorial candidates.
On July 26th, a historical date in Peronism since it’s the 59th. Anniversary of the death of Eva Perón, the President will inaugurate a mural depicting Evita’s image, located on one of the walls of the Public Works Ministry.
