CFK defends model, says 'it's not tail wind'
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner headed a rally at the thermoelectric plant of 240 megawatts that is being build in Río Turbio and announced that the turbines have already arrived and defended the government’s economic model by stating that “it’s not magic or tail wind, but work and planification.”
The rally began with a videoconference with the science exhibition Tecnópolis, where Economy Minister and candidate for Vice-President Amado Boudou, Buenos Aires City mayoral candidate Daniel Filmus, and other officials were present.
The Head of State affirmed that “the economic prosperity we are living in” is not achieved with “magic or tail wind” but with “work, effort, planification and thinking in our country.”
Fernández de Kirchner also said that the investment in energy plants was “13,000 percent more than it was in 2003.”
