Policeman responsible for San Telmo death released on parole
Federal Police officer, Ariel Marcelo Mendoza was released on parole after being questioned over the death of 22-year old Ariel Domínguez, who was killed after a shot fired by the policeman’s gun hit him in the neck on Wednesday afternoon, in the city neighbourhood of San Telmo.
Mendoza was removed from the scene of the incident on Wednesday evening by the Border Patrol and has been held in custody.
He was taken on Friday to the Federal Court where he was questioned by Judge María Gabriela Lanz, court sources reported, who decided to release Mendoza under parole because she considered there is no risk of scaping.
