Merval closes higher
The Merval benchmark stock index increased slightly by 0.1 percent, to 3,312.42 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.1% to 621 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The American currency traded for AR$4.15/AR$4.11, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
