Economy Minister and running mate of president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in October’s presidential elections Amado Boudou highlighted the changes the country underwent since late Néstor Kirchner was sworn president in 2003 followed by his wife.

Joined by Planning Minister Julio de Vido and province governor Gerardo Zamora, he also praised the province for its new structures. “I barely landed and all I see is public investment transforming Santiago del Estero,” he said.

After a visit to the local airport, Boudou is scheduled to attend the inauguration of a local highway at La Aurora locality. He will also visit the construction site of a new Convention Center few blocks from Santiago Del Estero’s government house.
