According to the 'Congress index,' June inflation rate was 1.5%

Opposition lawmakers announced that the inflation index measured by eight consulting agencies increased 1.5 percent in June.

Indec national statistics bureau will announce the official inflation rate on Wednesday, which is usually half of that estimated by private consulting agencies.

Lawmakers Patricia Bullrich, (Civic Coalition) Gustavo Ferrari, (Federal Peronism), Silvana Giuduci (Radical Party), Fernando Iglesias (Civic Coalition), Eduardo Amadeo (Federal Peronism), Federico Pinedo (Pro party) and Paula Bertol (Pro party) made the announcement. By means of this procedure, the same group of lawmakers announced May’s inflation rate.
