Argentina thrashes Kazahstan at Davis Cup

Argentina confirmed on Saturday its pass to the Davis Cup semi-finals after winning the last two matches against Kazakhstan and leaving the final score 5-0.
Juan Ignacio Chela defeated Evgeny Korolev bye 2-6, 6-2 and 6-0, while Juan Mónaco won over Mikhail Kukushkin by 6-4 and 6-1.
Chela thrashed Korolev after an hour and 37 minutes at the Mary Terán de Weiss Stadium in Parque Roca.
The team coached by Modesto “Tito” Vázquez will play the Davis’ semi-final from the 16 to 18 of September against the cup’s holder, Serbia, who defeated Sweden in Halmstad.
