Costa Rica beat Bolivia, complicate Argentina
Costa Rica's second string team beat nine-man Bolivia 2-0 to push hosts and tournament favourites Argentina into third place in Group A at the Copa América.
Strikers Josué Martínez and Joel Campbell scored the goals for the young Costa Rican side who climbed to second in the group with three points, one ahead of Argentina and one behind leaders Colombia.
A disappointing Argentina have been held to draws by Bolivia and Colombia, who drew 0-0 with the hosts on Wednesday after beating Costa Rica 1-0 at the weekend.
Bolivia had defender Ronald Rivero sent off after blocking a goalbound shot from Heiner Mora with his arm but Allen Guevara's penalty was saved by Carlos Arias.
Midfielder Walter Flores left Bolivia with nine men in the 76th minute when he was sent off for a foul on Campbell.
