Merval moves up

The panel of leading stocks index increased slightly by 0.4 percent, to 3,430.18 points. In the last seven rounds, it rose 4.3 percent.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 0.9% to 561 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.

The American currency traded for AR$4.145/AR$4.10, climbed half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
