Merval slightly up

Merval benchmark index was up 0.7 percent to 3,418.11 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.11 percent to 556 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.

The American currency closed at AR$4.095/AR$4.14, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
