Bomb threat in AFA headquarters
AFA headquarters in Buenos Aires City.
A bomb threat led to the evacuation of the headquarters of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), located in Viamonte 1300, Buenos Aires City.
One of the organization’s CEO, Gustavo Lorenzo, reported that they “had received a phone call after 4pm” that warned that there was an explosive object in a bar next to the AFA building.
“The person who called warned that there was a bomb in the bar next to AFA,” Lorenzo said referring to the El Evento bar.
Federal Police agents rapidly arrived to the building end evacuated it. Among the people working at the headquarters were employees of the medical department and journalists.
