Flights cancelled due to ash cloud, to be resumed at 10am
According to an official from the National Administration of Civic Aviation (ANAC), the ash cloud being produced by the Chilean Puyehue volcano has returned to Buenos Aires on Friday and caused flight delays and cancellations at both Aeroparque and Ezeiza airports.
ANAC reported that “the return of the volcanic ash produced by Chilean Puyehue-Cordón volcano Caulle has been registered over the metropolitan zone.”
Flight delays at both airports are expected to be resumed and rescheduled at 10am.
