Merval edges up
The panel of leading stocks index increased by 0.2 percent, to 3,360.64 points. So far this year it has experienced a loss of 4.6 percent. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.3 percent to 583 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The American currency traded for AR$4.09/AR$4.14, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
