Merval edges up
The panel of leading stocks index increased by 0.8 percent, to 3,353.82 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.65 percent to 597 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The American currency traded for $4.09/$4.14 pesos, gained half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
