Economy grows 9.1% in the first quarter

Economy grew 9.1 percent in the first quarter of the year compared to the volume reported in the same period in 2010, the Indec national statistics bureau announced.

The government's monthly EMAE economic activity index also reported that it has soared 7.1 percent in April year-on-year.

Compared to the previous month, the index registered an increase of 0.7 percent.
