Rodríguez Saá says he is the 'alternative to the Gov't'

San Luis Governor and presidential candidate, Alberto Rodríguez Saá.

During an interview on 'Ambito de Debate', San Luis province Governor and presidential candidate Alberto Rodríguez Saá gave the hint that his running mate will be José María Vernet and assured he is "the alternative to the Government."

Rodríguez Saá referred to the inflation as the “tax to the poor people” and affirmed that “fearing inflation is the main fact that generates it.” He also added that by having a “healthy currency” and “strong salaries” the inflation issue can be solved.

By the end of the interview, the presidential candidate assured that the “great survey” will be on August 14 in the primaries, and that “President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will receive less votes than the ones expected, and the surprise will be given by the amount of votes that other candidates will receive.”

When he was asked about a possible run-off between Eduardo Duhalde and Fernández de Kirchner in October, the candidate assured that “there are no chances in my mind that Duhalde reached the run-off.”
