Fans allowed at River-Belgrano playoff
Hoolingans stormed into the pitch during the first leg of the playoff.
Authorities allowed the presence of fans for Sunday’s playoff second leg between River Plate and Belgrano to be held at the Monumental Stadium, and there will be 2,500 policemen to watch over the area.
The Sports Security Committee met this afternoon after yesterday’s incidents in Córdoba during the first leg.
For this particular occasion, there will be 1,200 policemen inside the stadium, while 1,300 will be controlling the area surrounding the Monumental stadium.
