Bariloche airport to remain closed until June 30 due to ashes
The Civic Defense Municipal Board reported that the airport of San Carlos de Bariloche will remain closed until June 30 due to the volcano ash spewed by the Puyehue.
The board also reported that the volcanic eruption and the presence of ashes had eased, but the strong winds did not help with the current conditions in Bariloche.
The opening of the airport has been delayed until the end of the month in order to continue with the cleaning of the area.
The tourist activity is normalizing as the Blest Port and the Los Cántaros cascade remain opened.
