Opposition reports inflation hits 1.5% on May
Opposition lawmakers reported today that the inflation rate reached 1.5 percent in May, according to the estimates provided by eight "censored" economic consultants.
Also, an inter-annual report stated that the inflation rate reached 23.5 percent in the last twelve months, the lawmakers from the PRO, CC bloc, Radical Party and Federal Peronism bloc said.
They also added that the inflation rate expected to be reported by the Indec national statistics bureau tomorrow, "will surely be between 0.7 and 0.8 percent."
“What costs 2 pesos for any Argentine, costs 1 peso for Indec head Guillermo Moreno,” they assured.
