Teachers' unions summoned to solve conflict in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz’s Labour Department summoned two teachers’ unions involved in the conflict for Monday and urged them to abide the mandatory conciliation and to “immediately lift” the strike which began on April 15 for undetermined time, the provincial government reported.
The meeting has been called after the Appeals Court confirmed the ruling issued last month by Judge Carlos Arenillas.
State Prosecutor Carlos Ramos reported the ruling to the Labour Department, who summoned the Docentes de Santa Cruz union (ADOSAC) and the Magisterio de Enseñanza Técnica (AMET) for Monday at 5pm.
