Binner officializes presidential candidacy, Morandini running mate

Hermes Binner's candidacy for president for the Progressive Front was confirmed during a congress in support of the candidate, which took place at a downtown Buenos Aires hotel. Norma Morandini was declared his running mate, while GEN congresswoman, Margarita Stolbizer announced that she will be competing for Buenos Aires province governor, giving up on integrating into the presidential formula.

Stolbizer confirmed that she will officially be competing for the Provincial Government of Buenos Aires and underlined her hoped for aligning herself with the Santa Fe leader.

The congress took place at the Bauen Hotel along Callao Avenue at 300, where Binner was announced as a presidential candidate, to compete in the August primaries, in a centre-left front, alongside GEN and Proyecto Sur. 

Organizers explained that presidential candidate, is to get under way with various activities in three committees which will analyze the political situation nationwide and possible alliances, in the face of the October elections.
