Nisman calls for immediate arrest of Telleldín
Prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who handles the investigation of the terrorist attack on the AMIA Jewish community centre in 1994, requested that former detainee Carlos Telleldín be arrested as a wilfull participant in the July 18th 1994 bombing.
Nisman once again requested Telleldín’s immediate detention, who remains free despite the Supreme Court’s ruling against his absolution on the case.
Last week, one of the alleged masterminds behind the attack, Iranian Defense Minister Ahman Vahidi, visited the inaguration of a school of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Americas in Bolivia.
By the time Nisman requested his detention, Vahidi had already fled the country, for which Bolivian president Evo Morales apologized for the incident.
